STORIES FROM AROUND THE WORLD
THAILAND
Thailand, a nation of 72 million people, has a rich tapestry of languages and dialects. FEBC has been supporting Gospel broadcast programs in Thailand since the 1950s.
CHINA
FEBC International aired its very first broadcast from Shanghai, and within a few years, by 1948, shortwave broadcasts began airing from the Philippines into China.
MALAWI
One of FEBC Malawi’s most significant ministries is to the Yao people – a community deeply influenced by Islam. While they make up 15% of Malawi’s population, only 2% have come to know Christ.
KAZAKHSTAN
FEBC is using shortwave radio, the internet, and social media to reach the country’s population of nearly 19 million people – the majority of whom are culturally Muslim.
UKRAINE
Over the past years, FEBC’s local staff have seen an unprecedented hunger for the Gospel, as people in Ukraine turn to God for strength and comfort.
INDONESIA
FEBC Indonesia owns and operates seven radio stations in the country, broadcasting the Gospel to 278 million people in large cities and remote areas.
