The Challenge of Reaching China’s Next Generation

In today’s rapidly changing world, China’s youth are navigating pressures and opportunities unlike any generation before them. While the nation has made remarkable advances in education, technology, and connectivity, the next generation is growing up in a culture marked by high expectations, rapid change, and new social influences – leaving many young people searching for hope, guidance, and purpose.

Encounters of Hope Among the Khmu Youth

The Khmu are a small ethnic minority of just under 900,000 people living throughout the highlands of Southeast Asia. Though often marginalized and historically treated as second-class citizens, God has been raising up a vibrant community of believers among them. Today more than 70,000 Khmu have come to faith in Christ – many through FEBC’s radio broadcasts and outreach efforts for more than three decades already.

Sharing Christ’s Love with Cambodia’s Next Generation

FEBC’s ministry in Cambodia started with shortwave radio in 1953. But through the many years of hardships, FEBC broadcasters were forced to flee to the Philippines where they continued to produce programs. In 1995, the Cambodian government allowed the national broadcasters to return and establish FEBC Cambodia’s first studio in Phnom Penh. By 2002, a new FM station called Voice of Love was established.

Bringing the Hope of Christ to Ukraine’s Next Generation

Even in the midst of war, FEBC-Ukraine continues to faithfully share the Gospel with children and teenagers – offering the unshakeable hope found in Jesus Christ. Through radio, digital media, and in-person ministry, the next generation is hearing the life-changing message of God’s love in Ukraine’s most difficult times.
