A Visit to Malawi

The Executive Director of FEBCanada recently traveled to Malawi to visit Amos, FEB Malawi’s national director, and witness firsthand the incredible impact of his ministry among the Yao people. Over the years, Amos has tirelessly spread the gospel through radio broadcasts and Listener Groups, bringing hope to thousands despite the challenges of poverty and persecution. This visit was an opportunity to encourage Amos and his team, see the transformative power of faith in action, and strengthen the partnership between FEBCanada and FEB Malawi.

Stories Of Hope From Indonesia

The story of FEBC Indonesia’s radio network, known as “Heartline Radio”, is a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and a profound inspiration to all those in our ministry. Just a few years ago, FEBC Indonesia owned and operated seven radio stations across the nation. With countless island communities and ethnic languages, outreach was a true challenge. Yet, they remained steadfast, trusting that God would work through their broadcasts to touch lives around the nation.

Hope Amidst Crisis: Urgent Prayers Needed For Ukraine

Though more than two years have passed since the war in Ukraine began, the resilience and hope of Ukrainian people have continued to endure through the ongoing crisis. Many of the FEBC staff in Ukraine have shared their testimonies, with some being called into service to serve as chaplains in the war, and others taking on new responsibilities to continue the FEBC ministry. Their stories of faith and courage in the face of suffering remind us that even in the darkest moments, the hope found in Jesus Christ shines in the brightest.

Hope For the Next Generation in Kazakhstan

During the decades of Soviet rule, the government’s mission was to erase all traces of faith, teaching the people of Kazakhstan that God did not exist. Churches were shut down, destroyed, and belief in God was often met with severe punishment. For the older generations of Kazakhs, hearing the Gospel was not just rare – it could be dangerous, with risks of imprisonment or death for seeking the truth of Jesus Christ.

Sharing Hope With Malawi’s Yao Listener Clubs

Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, is home to a large community of Yao people – a community deeply influenced by Islam. Yet in the midst of all this, God is still at work, as many Yao people have been listening in on FEBC broadcasts, embracing the Good News of Jesus Christ, and opening their hearts to the Gospel.

Last year alone, FEBCanada’s Chinese Ministry produced a remarkable 507 hours to listeners in China, 42 hours dedicated to the China Seminary (Liangyou), and 117 hours of web and podcast content.

A Gift of Hope: Bringing the Christmas Message to Thailand

As Christmas approaches, the stark contrast between Thai and Canadian traditions becomes striking. While Canadians dream of a “white Christmas,” the reality in Thailand includes warm, sunny days with average temperatures soaring to 31°C in mid-December. Yet, amid this tropical backdrop, FEBC Canada and FEBC Thailand are committed to sharing the true meaning of Christmas through its “Christmas Give with Love” initiative, now in its fifth year.
