FOR THE CHINA
MINISTRY
In the 80 years since our foundation, we’ve experienced God’s faithfulness. When Bob Bowman, John Broger, and William Roberts followed God’s lead to start a missionary radio to share Christ with the world, they had one particular country in mind – China. Hence, Far East Broadcasting Co. (FEBC) was born.

REV. EDWIN TSANG
Chinese Ministries Director
In the blink of an eye, Far East Canada is now in its 41st year! First of all, I would like to thank you for your prayers and support. May God continue to bless you. In the last issue of Letter Bridge, I urged you to remember that we are facing a deficit of about $160,000 dollars. As a result, before the new year started on July 1, with your support, the deficit was eliminated successfully, thanks to God’s grace. So, as we head into the new year, we can go forward without any burden and pay our gospel debt. I remember about two years ago, we promoted a slogan called “Step Out of China”. At that time, some people wondered whether Far East had forgotten its original intention.
The author once said, “No, it is because due to various factors, Chinese people have been scattered to different corners of the world, and the saying that where there are people, there are Chinese people has been fulfilled.
We have not forgotten that China is still our main target, but we will not forget the Chinese diaspora around the world, who are also our target for evangelization. Remember in the book of Acts, when the Apostle Paul was preaching the gospel in Asia Minor, his work was fruitful, and when he wanted to continue his work in Asia Minor, the Holy Spirit forbade him. And in the night, Paul saw a new challenge brought to him and said, “Come and help us! The result was a stepping stone for the spread of the gospel to Europe.

Unreached people groups are defined as any ethnic group with less than 2% evangelical Christians, the threshold needed for them to reach their own people. Most unreached people groups remains unreached because they are hard to access by missionaries.
