In September, Jimri will be featured as the guest speaker on FEBCanada’s Friendship tour in Coastal British Columbia – which is scheduled to begin on the 13th in New Westminster, and conclude in Vancouver on the 27th.

Following several years of employment in Indonesia’s corporate sector, Jimri started working for Yaski as an accounting supervisor in 2021.

With the intention of producing on-air programs for youth, Jimri enrolled in an intensive training course on media broadcasting ... and shortly after completing several strategic projects for the network, he became the ministry’s director of radio – the assignment he held until he was appointed to his current leadership position.

On this BC tour, Jimri will focus on the effectiveness of the Indonesian radio network’s seven Heartline radio stations. Over the years – with the financial assistance of FEBCanada – the Indonesian ministry has not only installed Canadian-made Nautel transmitters in all its stations, but has produced and aired program content; and distributed portable radios as tools for evangelism, and for people who are unable to purchase their own.

In addition, Jimri will provide an update on the MORE Project – a strategic partnership with over one hundred small, privately owned radio stations: by providing them with quality on-air content produced by Yaski, and training for the station’s staff on programming. This has vastly increased the Indonesian ministry’s radio outreach throughout this island nation of over 285 million people.

Jimri will also share about the effective ways that Yaski is using to reach the next generation with the Gospel. Jimri is actively involved in his local church in Jakarta – where he lives with his wife Febe, and teenage sons Dawson (16), and Delano (13).
