RUSSIA
Less than one percent of Russians are evangelicals. In today’s Russia, new government regulations in recent years have become more restrictive on religious freedom. Christians are facing increasing persecution.
With the mission of being close to the listeners, FEBC International touches millions of Russian people with a wide variety of audio content on a daily basis – through the innovative use of social networks, mobile apps, new media platforms, and traditional radio.
Engaging talk-shows, live phone-in counselling programs, special series on young people, children, and family – as well as topical programs on marriage, relationships, foster care, adoption, alcoholism, drug addiction, and abortion – all cater to the needs of listeners of different ages, with an honest Bible-based approach.
During the pandemic, special “helplines” were set up to offer “live” counselling – this area of ministry has been much sought after, and appreciated.
Select content is also aired to neighbouring Russian-speaking countries, such as Moldova.
Your support will help sustain FEBC International’s effective ministries in Russia and beyond, enabling the message of God’s love and hope to be heard by those who desperately need it.
