Dear Ministry Partner:

“Gideon said to God, ‘If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised – look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing-floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.’ And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew – a bowlful of water.” Judges 6:36-38

We may have different feelings when we think of Gideon (and perhaps we can place Thomas in this same category). Some may think of them as cowardly, doubtful, and without faith. However, something catches our attention in these two narratives: God understood the hearts of these two men and came to meet them in the way that they needed.

This is our Heavenly Father – the one who understands our hearts and is willing to do whatever is required to make sure we listen to His words.

FEBC International is this big "umbrella" that connects all of the more than 50 local ministry offices in the countries where we are serving God (FEBCanada is one of them). Regular meetings are held with the directors from these offices – to discuss strategies, share progress, identify difficulties, and have fellowship.

A few weeks ago, one of these gatherings took place in South Korea.

In our May Virtual Update Meetings, we will reference some outcomes of this meeting – with recent news from a number of our ministry fields. We will cover updates from Ukraine to the Ethnic Ministries (which is now an independent "field" within FEBC International) … and from India to the Philippines and South Korea (on how these countries are reaching out to the next generation).
