Chinese Ministries – China

CHINA

OUR FOCUS

China has, in recent years, been intensifying its surveillance and restrictions on religious activities – Christian ministries, as a result, are facing increasing challenges in conducting their work.

FEBC International has been airing the Gospel to China since 1948, and this most populated nation has been one of the major targets of the radio ministry even until today. Due to the diversity of ethnic groups in the country, programs are produced in seven or more minority languages and dialects other than Putonghua (Mandarin Chinese) used by most of the nation's 1.4 billion people. Programs are broadcast to China through shortwave and AM transmitters in the Philippines and South Korea - some featuring live interactive phone-in counselling and prayer requests.

In addition to shortwave and AM radio, Radio Liangyou’s main website features program blogs, text messages, forums, and links to its 24/7 internet radio, mobile apps, social media, and other resources. Listeners with internet access can easily connect with the radio ministry, and with each other.

FEBC International needs your dedicated support to continue researching and developing feasible host media to share the Gospel within rapidly changing China.

FEBCanada produces over 100 hours of audio programs to be broadcasted to China via FEBC’s transmitter facilities in the Philippines and South Korea. We also developed a number of social media facilities to share our programs to Chinese diaspora globally via the internet.
