Egypt
Egypt boasts of being the most populous country in the Arab region, and the third largest in Africa (after Nigeria and Ethiopia). Egypt is a “desert country”, which centres its population along a fertile strip of land by the Nile River.
There is palpable stress on its natural resources, which is already limited by its geography – and is further affected by a rapid population growth rate that is also directly impacting the nation’s healthcare, employment, education, housing, and sanitation, among others.
The Voice of Egypt is an internet-based radio streaming service that is hosted by FEBC International. This online station currently airs seven programs that present a variety of topics – ranging from Bible teaching, to healthy interpersonal relationships, to women’s programs, to youth concerns. The station also plays music that not only entertains, but inspires at the same time.
